Understand and Overcome the Clinical Supply Chain Challenges in Russia
Institute for International Research: The 7th Annual Global Clinical Supply Chain Management Conference brought together clinical research, pharmaceutical, and international executives to address the growing global research trials marketplace. Global Language Solutions president, Inna Kassatkina, was an invited speaker on the topic of supply chain logistics and the Russian clinical trial market. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, with its 142.2 million population and 319 ongoing international multicenter clinical trials, Russia ranks as number one among the E7 countries. Kassatkina’s presentation, entitled, "Understand and Overcome the Clinical Supply Chain Challenges in Russia," addressed the costs associated with conducting clinical trials in Russia, as well as a review of the regulatory processes, logistics, and tips for working with a local partner (CRO). The presentation and research will be summarized in the February 2008 issue of the Global Communicator.
