Reminders to buy American are everywhere I turn. But, in contrast, when walking into just about any store, I can find labels or packaging with "Made in Mexico" or "Made in China," reminding me that it's a global world in the manufacturing industry. And, while media reports claim more jobs are returning to the U.S. due to rising labor costs and increasing transportation costs, new initiatives by the Chinese government may keep the pendulum swinging east.
