Message from the Editor Tweet, ping, ning, poke. Today’s communication and marketing tools remind me more of a lesson on onomatopoeias rather than words used to promote a brand. But, the truth is, keeping up with the marketing and public relations curve means keeping up with these social media terms.

In this issue, we’ll focus on Public Relations and how social media is impacting the way we communicate our brand to the masses. Also in this issue, we focus on the French language.

If you’re in the life sciences industry, be sure to read our Tips and Tools section for information on my co-authored article on drug development in a multicultural environment, which appears in the current issue of DIA's Global Forum.

As always, please send us your story ideas, share Global Communicator with a friend or colleague, or request more information about our e-Publication.
