Earlier this month, GLS announced it is donating Spanish translation services to support the growth efforts of Whole Child International in Nicaragua and El Salvador.

Whole Child International, a 501(c)(3) international aid organization based in Los Angeles, works with governments to improve the quality of life for children in orphanages and other institutions. Research by Whole Child and its partners has proven that institutions can be dramatically improved at relatively small cost by focusing on the relationship between child and caregiver. They focus on three basic childcare principles — primary caregiving, continuity of care, and small groups. This cost-effective work leverages the power of early intervention and implements best practices in child development to make it possible for these children to become productive members of society.

Global Language Solutions has donated the translation of Whole Child's research studies from English to Spanish. Future plans involve localizing the organization's website and translation of its program information documents.
