Hispanics have lagged behind other demographic segments in their political clout, partially because so many of them were under 18. But now, more than 400,000 U.S.-born Hispanics a year are turning 18 and joining the voting pool, according to the Pew Hispanic Research Center.
In this issue of the Global Communicator, we'll take a look at the impact of the Hispanic vote in the 2008 Presidential election and Democratic caucuses and update you on the latest political industry events and conferences. Our featured language is Spanish.
We are always looking for new topics of interest and reader feedback. Please send us your story ideas, share Global Communicator with a friend or colleague, or request to feature a story on your website.
