Olga Smirnova
Co-Founder & CEO
Professional background:
Olga Smirnova co-founded Global Language Solutions in 1994 and has been integral in building GLS' strong clientele of government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and emerging international ventures. Ms. Smirnova manages day-to-day operations of GLS. She is responsible for overseeing the growth of the company's sales and continuing to expand the company's range of services, utilizing newest technologies, and applying aggressive and innovative marketing strategies. Prior to co-founding GLS, Ms. Smirnova worked for an international firm, assisting the company in its marketing and advertising, public relations, and strategic development.
Education:
Ms. Smirnova graduated summa cum laude from the Institute of Foreign Languages in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. She earned a bachelor's degree in English linguistics.
Personal:
Born and raised in Russia, Ms. Smirnova is fluent in several languages and an avid world traveler. She currently resides in Southern California with her husband.

Inna Kassatkina
Co-Founder & President
Professional background:
Inna Kassatkina is co-founder and president of Global Language Solutions. Her excellent management, strategic planning, and communication skills help drive the success of GLS. Prior to co-founding GLS in 1994, Ms. Kassatkina worked for an international firm with strong interests in Russia and offered linguistic consulting to various companies doing business in Eastern Europe. These diverse business and cultural experiences have led Ms. Kassatkina to provide senior level consulting in international communications to leading healthcare, legal, and finance organizations. She is the author of many articles on the issues of language translation and is a frequent speaker at various industry events.
Education:
Ms. Kassatkina attended Moscow State University and graduated cum laude from the University of California/ Irvine with a Bachelor's degree in linguistics.
Personal:
A native of Moscow, Russia, Ms. Kassatkina is fluent in several languages. She currently resides in Southern California with her husband, daughter, and son.

Melissa C. Gillespie
Public Relations
Professional background:
Melissa C. Gillespie is a seasoned marketing and public relations executive with more than 10 years of experience helping government agencies and global corporations effectively reach their target audiences both internally and externally. Ms. Gillespie is integral in Global Language Solutions' strategic marketing and public relations campaign planning and execution. Her industry experience includes high technology, government, sports business, education, publishing, and healthcare.
Education:
Ms. Gillespie has bachelor degrees in communication studies and Spanish, as well as a master of arts in international communications.
Personal:
Ms. Gillespie is a Chicago, Illinois native residing in Southern California with her husband and two boys.
